This chapter and the regulations included herein shall cover electrical conductors, apparatus and equipment and the installation, alteration or repair of the same, for purposes of supplying and utilizing electricity for light, heat, power, signal and controls, within or on public and private buildings and other structures and premises within the City, including yards, carnival lots, sales lots, parking lots, trailer or mobile home parks, recreation and electrical signs and displays, and the conductors that connect the installations to a supply of electricity, as well as other outside conductors on or adjacent to the premises.
