Pursuant to Section 4.14 of the City Charter, there is hereby adopted, for the purpose of prescribing regulations governing conditions hazardous to life and property, the National Electrical Code, being the edition referenced in the current edition of the Ohio Building Code, as amended and adopted by the Ohio Board of Building Standards, Department of Commerce. Such Code is hereby adopted and incorporated as if fully set out at length herein, except as hereinafter amended, and from the date on which this section takes effect, the provisions thereof shall be controlling in the City.
