(a) The Council hereby approves and authorizes, upon proper application to the Safety Service Director and contingent and conditioned upon the certain groups, organizations or individuals (“applicant”) obtaining the proper permit(s) from the Ohio Department of Commerce, Division of Liquor Control, that the Safety Service Director may grant or permit the applicant to allow for the serving, possession and consumption of alcoholic beverages while on the premises of any property owned by the City for social gatherings to only those persons allowed by the application of said permit(s).
(b) The applicant shall provide proof to the Safety Service Director that the proper permit(s) have been obtained from the Ohio Department of Commerce, Division of Liquor Control for the serving, possession and consumption of alcoholic beverages for the applied location.
(c) The Council hereby authorizes the temporary suspension of any ordinance of the City which would otherwise prohibit the serving, possession, and consumption of alcoholic beverages while on the premises of any property owned by the City on the dates permitted by the Safety Service Director pursuant to said proper application.
