SECTION 23.01 TERM OF ELECTED OFFICIALS.

After December 1, 2005, the Mayor, City Finance Director, City Law Director and members of Council shall assume and take office on the first day in January following their elections and the current term of the Mayor, City Finance Director, City Law Director and each member of Council shall be extended to December 31, 2007.
