Each person desiring to become a candidate for Mayor, City Finance Director, City Law Director, and Member of Elyria City Council shall file a Declaration of Candidacy or a Nominating Petition and Statement of Candidacy with the Lorain County Board of Elections in accordance with the election laws of the State of Ohio as provided in the Ohio Revised Code.
