The Ely city fire department shall charge a fee for emergency calls and emergency responses to all persons who are not residents of White Pine County. In addition, any person who requires emergency response or fire response within the Ely city fire department service area who is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to have committed a crime and the Ely city fire department determines the crime was a contributing cause of an emergency response by the Ely fire department shall be liable for the full costs of the response.
