7-4-1: ESTABLISHED:

The Ely city fire department shall charge a fee for emergency calls and emergency responses to all persons who are not residents of White Pine County. In addition, any person who requires emergency response or fire response within the Ely city fire department service area who is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to have committed a crime and the Ely city fire department determines the crime was a contributing cause of an emergency response by the Ely fire department shall be liable for the full costs of the response. 7-4-2: BASIS OF FEE:

The fee authorized in section 7-4-1 of this chapter shall be reasonably related to the cost of the services provided and supplies consumed in the emergency call. (Ord. 542, 4-13-2000, eff. 5-4-2000)

7-4-3: SET BY RESOLUTION:

The city council shall adopt by resolution the fees to be charged in section 7-4-1 of this chapter. (Ord. 542, 4-13-2000, eff. 5-4-2000)

7-4-4: AMENDMENT:

The city council may by resolution, alter, amend or revoke the fees set forth in a prior resolution. (Ord. 542, 4-13-2000, eff. 5-4-2000)

7-4-5: ASSESSMENT, BILLING AND COLLECTION:

The city fire department shall be responsible for the assessment, billing and collection of the fees. (Ord. 542, 4-13-2000, eff. 5-4-2000)
