(A) During the course of construction, the Village Engineer shall provide construction observation of the work in order to ensure compliance with the approved plans and specifications, and good engineering and construction practices. Inspection of the sanitary sewer, storm drainage and water systems shall conform with the engineering technical standards. Final inspection of all other applicable portions of the project shall be conducted by the village in accordance with this chapter.
(B) Upon notification of non-compliance, the applicant shall immediately suspend work on that portion of the development identified by the Village Engineer as non-compliant with the terms of this chapter, or the approved plans and specifications, and the applicant shall correct all non-compliant work within 48 hours of the notice, or such other time period as permitted by the Village Engineer, as set forth in writing.
