§ 110.09 LICENSE TERM; RENEWAL.
   (A)   Unless otherwise provided, all annual licenses shall be due on May 1 of each year and shall terminate on April 30 of the following year. The Village Clerk shall mail to all annual licensees of the village a statement of the time of expiration of the license held by the licensee three weeks prior to the date of the expiration. However, a failure to send out the notice, or the failure of the licensee to receive the notice shall not excuse the licensee from a failure to obtain a new license, or a renewal thereof, nor shall it be a defense in an action based on operation without a license.
   (B)   Except as otherwise provided, each license may be renewed upon proper application and payment of the required fee(s). The requirements and procedures for granting and issuing a license renewal shall be the same as the requirements and procedures set forth herein for granting a new license.
