(A) It shall be unlawful to plant any tree or shrub in any public street or sidewalk or on any parkway or right-of-way without first securing approval from the Village Administrator, the Director of Public Works or their designee.
(B) If trees or shrubs are to be planted in any part of a subdivision devoted to public use, the species of trees, types of shrubs and their location shall be subject to the approval and direction of the Village Engineer (see Elwood Subdivision and Development Ordinance).
