(A) Creation. The Village President, with the advice and consent of the corporate authorities shall designate an Ethics Advisor for the village. The duties of the Ethics Advisor may be delegated to an officer or employee of the village.
(B) Duties. The Ethics Advisor shall provide guidance to the officers and employees of the village concerning the interpretation of and compliance with the provisions of this subchapter and state ethics laws. The Ethics Advisor shall perform such other duties as may be delegated by the corporate authorities.
