Each vehicle to be licensed shall be operated by none other than a person who holds a commercial driver’s license for operation of a motor vehicle, as defined in the Revised Code of Ohio. This operator shall have the written approval of the Chief of Police as to fitness to operate a taxicab, which approval shall be obtained annually on January 1. In the event that the vehicle is so driven in violation of this section, the Clerk-Treasurer may notify the Mayor, who shall revoke the vehicle license for the vehicle concerned.
