(A) Any person, firm, or corporation, or any owner, agent, employee, or driver of a public vehicle who violates any of the provisions of this chapter shall be fined as set forth in § 10.99 and costs for each offense, and for the habitual violation of any of the provisions of this chapter the Mayor, upon recommendation of the Clerk-Treasurer, shall revoke the license of the business entity.
(B) In addition to the penalty provided in division (A) of this section, any taxicab being operated in violation of any provision of this chapter may be impounded by the Police Department. Any person desiring to redeem the impounded taxicab shall first pay to the municipality a basic charge of $25 plus $5 per day for the time the impounded taxicab is in storage.
