§ 115.10  REGULAR ROUTES, SOLICITING PROHIBITED.
   (A)   Owners and drivers of autos for hire and taxicabs are prohibited from permitting or causing the vehicle:
      (1)   To be operated over any regular routes;
      (2)   To pass any specified point at regular intervals of time or on a fixed time schedule for the purpose of picking up passengers; or
      (3)   When hired, to accept other passengers until the service for which it has been hired has been completed, except in cases where a taxicab is operated under a special trip rate.
   (B)   No autos for hire shall exhibit any sign, symbol, lettering, or figures on or from any part of the vehicle, except the license tags required by law, nor shall any autos for hire solicit or accept passengers on the streets, public places, quasi-public places, or stand on any public taxicab stand; but autos for hire may be used as funeral cars, or as driverless autos for hire, without any additional license fee.  Taxicabs shall at all times when in operation and not engaged furnish service on demand to any orderly person for lawful purposes.
