§ 115.02  LICENSE REQUIRED.
   (A)   No person, firm, partnership, association, or corporation, either as owner or as agent, employee, or driver for, or lessee of the owner, shall operate or permit to be operated a taxicab, or shall proffer the services of the taxicab as a public vehicle by solicitation by voice, sign, public advertisement, light, or otherwise, unless the proper license has been issued to the owner or operator thereof and is in force.  Every license shall expire on December 31 of the year for which it is issued.  In case of licenses issued for the operation on or after July 1 of any year, the fee shall be one-half of the per annum fee.
   (B)   License fees of $250 per annum for public vehicles, regardless of the number, shall be payable to the Village Clerk-Treasurer on a business entity basis.
   (C)   The license fee as indicated by this section shall be in addition to the fee required under the laws of the state on all motor vehicles.
