The total annual compensation for the collection of the Borough real estate and per capita taxes shall be as established from time to time by Council. The tax collector shall pay to the Borough rent for the use of his or her office, effective January 1, 2010 in the amount of one hundred dollars ($100.00) per month. The rent shall increase annually by 5%. The tax collector shall also be responsible for maintaining and paying for his or her own telephone service and lines.
