The objectives of this chapter are to:
(a) Uphold the planning efforts and initiatives as set forth by the Ellwood City Borough among its residential, industrial and commercial areas.
(b) Promote the economic prosperity of the Ellwood City Borough’s commercial areas through the flexible and practical signage regulation.
(c) Ensure public safety by regulating signage standards so as not to cause distraction or impede the ability for motor vehicles to travel safely throughout the Borough.
(d) To preserve the existing character of Ellwood City Borough’s commercial area while supporting clear yet innovative and creative forms of conveying information.
