(a) The Manager, the Code Enforcement Officer or other designated employee shall have the authority to stop electrical work when such work is being performed in a manner not in conformity with the National Electrical Code or this chapter or upon notification of an authorized inspection agency.
(b) In the case of an existing building, if, upon inspection, it is found that the existing electrical wiring, equipment or apparatus is defective and/or unsafe, upon notification by the Manager and/or the Code Enforcement Officer, all use thereof shall be discontinued until it has been corrected and made to conform to the requirements of the National Electrical Code and this chapter, and approved by an authorized inspection agency or the Borough as provided for in Section 1460.03.
