As used in this chapter:
(a) “Audible alarm” means any horn or device which emits an audible signal outside a building to attract attention to an intrusion or to an attempted intrusion.
(b) “False alarm” means a spurious signal which is not a result of an intrusion or an attempted intrusion.
(c) “Intrusion alarm” means a direct connection to the Police Department which automatically activates a visual and/or audible signal intended to indicate an intrusion.
(d) “Person” means an individual, firm, partnership, association, corporation, company or organization of any kind.
(e) “Telephone alarm” means an automatically activated alarm transmitted by telephone, directly or indirectly, to the Police Department, which alarm intends to indicate an intrusion or an attempted intrusion.
