Whenever the required testing and inspection of the tanks, pumps, apparatus and equipment used in the storage and/or sale of gasoline and other motor fuels in the Borough shows that the tanks, pumps, apparatus and equipment do not comply with the provision of this chapter, such tanks, pumps, apparatus and equipment shall not be used in any manner for the storage and sale of gasoline until the proper additions and repairs have been made so that said equipment can be used with safety to persons and property in the Borough. No certificate shall be issued for the use of such tanks, pumps, apparatus and equipment until the proper and necessary repairs and additions have been made.
