No person shall willfully or maliciously destroy, remove, deface, obliterate or cover up any warning lamp, flare, sign or barricade erected by the authorities of the Borough, or by any person doing work by permission of the authorities of the Borough, on any street, alley, sidewalk or bridge in the Borough or on any public ground of the Borough, within or without the Borough, as a warning of danger.
