460.01 DRIVING IN EXCESS OF PRESCRIBED SPEED LIMITS; PENALTY.

   (a)   No person shall drive any vehicle upon any portion of a street in the Borough listed below at a greater rate of speed than the maximum prescribed for that part of the street:

Streets that are not otherwise posted or named in this section shall have a maximum speed of twenty-five miles per hour.

   (b)   Whoever violates any of the provisions of this section shall be fined thirty-five dollars ($35.00) and costs. Whoever exceeds a maximum speed limit by more than five miles per hour shall pay an additional fine of two dollars ($2.00) per mile for each mile in excess of five miles per hour over the maximum speed limit.
