1486.14   YARD SIGN PERMIT GRACE-PERIOD.
   (a)   During any political election, whether local, State, or Federal, yard signs may be erected without a permit for up to four weeks prior to and five days following the voting date of the said political election.
   (b)   All yard signs during this grace-period shall comply with the appropriate dimensional standards, granted the sign or signs do not conflict with public safety, as per Section 1486.08 or any other county, State or Federal regulation.
   (c)   No limits on the number of yard signs during the grace-period shall be imposed by the Borough; nor shall the Borough collect permit fees for yard signs during the grace-period.
   (d)   Outside of this multi-week grace-period during any political election, the standards and requirements of this chapter shall apply to yard signs, including all permit requirements and fees. See also Section 1486.12(b).
