252.02   DUTIES OF FIRE CHIEF; BOND.
   The Fire Chief shall direct the actions of the various fire companies at and during any fire within the Borough. He or she shall have general supervision and control over all fire apparatus and equipment belonging to the Borough and shall report to Council whenever the Department is in need of supplies, other than gasoline, for the fire apparatus. At each regular meeting of Council, the Fire Chief shall submit a written report of the activities of the Fire Department to Council, giving details as to each fire or fire call in the preceding month, including, in each case, the location of the fire, the amount of damage sustained and the expense incurred by the Department in answering the fire call and fighting the fire. The Fire Chief shall furnish bond in an amount required by Council.
