§ 111.99 PENALTY.

   Any person, partnership, association, or corporation which violates any provision of this chapter shall also be subject to the following penalties:

   (A)   Operating as pawnbroker without a license.

      (1)   First offense, $100, Class D ordinance violation.

      (2)   Second offense, $500, Class C ordinance violation.

      (3)   Third and subsequent offenses, $2,500, Class A ordinance violation.

   (B)   Failure to keep records as required by § 111.05.

      (1)   First offense, $500, Class C ordinance violation.

      (2)   Second offense, $2,500, Class A ordinance violation.

      (3)   Third offense, $2,500 Class A ordinance violation and license revocation.

   (C)   Failure to keep records as required by § 111.06(A) for each article pawned or received.

      (1)   First offense, $500, Class C ordinance violation.

      (2)   Second offense, $2,500, Class A ordinance violation.

      (3)   Third offense $2,500 Class A ordinance violation and license revocation.

   (D)   Failure to timely complete and provide a list each week to the Police Department of all information submitted to the law enforcement website, as required by § 111.06 (B).

      (1)   First offense, $500, Class C ordinance violation.

      (2)   Second offense, $2,500, Class A ordinance violation.

      (3)   Third offense, $2,500, Class A ordinance violation and license revocation.

   (E)   The Police Department shall write the violations.
