(A) In addition to the record book required by this chapter, all licensees under this chapter shall transfer electronically information for each article pawned or received to a law enforcement website specially designated for the sole purpose of collecting such records. Such information shall include a description of the property, along with serial numbers or identifying marks, if any, all pledger identification required by I.C. 28-7-5, and date of birth, and driver's license number of the pledger. Said information shall be transferred electronically to the law enforcement website within 24 hours of the licensee receiving the article pawned. Licensee is responsible for maintaining all records and receipts showing that the information has been transferred to the appropriate law enforcement website.
(B) At the time licensee transfers the required information to the law enforcement website, licensee shall also transfer the same information electronically to the Ellettsville Police Department.
