§ 51.01 AUTHORITY TO PROVIDE AND REGULATE WATER SERVICE.

   Pursuant to I.C. 36-9-2, 8-1-2-1, and 8-1.5, the town has the power to:

   (A)   Establish, maintain, and operate waterworks;

   (B)   Purchase, condemn, construct, and operate a utility in the town for the purpose of transportation, production, delivery, sale, and furnishing of water to the public;

   (C)   Establish reasonable and just rates and charges for services to patrons of the water utility; and

   (D)   Regulate the furnishing of water to the public.
