A. Right To Appeal: Any person or entity under this Chapter aggrieved by the refusal of the city to enter into an agreement, water shut off, issuance of a penalty or other decision related to the use of the city's water system shall have the right to appeal the city's decision to the city council. Such appeal shall be requested by submitting a written request to the clerk within ten (10) business days of the action of the city which is appealed, detailing the basis for the appeal.
B. City Council Consideration: The city council shall consider the appeal within thirty (30) days of the receipt of the appeal, at which time, the person or entity appealing shall be entitled to present the appeal orally or in writing. The city council shall act on the appeal within thirty (30) days of the hearing. The City Council's decision will be in writing and supported by written findings establishing the reasonableness of its decision. (Ord. 273, 6-8-2023)
