(A) The traffic laws set forth in chapter 484A through 484E of the Nevada Revised Statutes, and as the same may be amended from time to time, are incorporated and adopted herein by reference, except those traffic laws that are prohibited by Nevada Revised Statutes to be adopted as County Ordinances. It shall be unlawful to do any act forbidden or fail to perform any act required therein and such unlawful act or failure to act shall be punished as a civil infraction, unless Nevada Revised Statutes provides that the offense is a misdemeanor.
(B) Punishment for Civil Infractions: All Civil Infractions shall be punished in accordance with penalties listed in Nevada Revised Statutes for the specific offense committed.
(C) Misdemeanor Offenses: All misdemeanor offenses shall be punished in accordance with Elko County Code 7-1-26. (Ord. 2012-05, 6-6-2012, eff. 7-14-2012; amd. Ord. 2023-03, 2-15-2023)
