§ 71.03 PARKING TRUCKS AND COMMERCIAL VEHICLES IN RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS.
   No commercial vehicle or motor truck larger than half-ton capacity shall be parked or left standing on any street or alley located in a residential district, as designated by the zoning ordinance, as codified in Chapter 152 of this code of ordinances, for more than five hours at any time, except when actually engaged in loading or unloading merchandise; provided, that trucks belonging to or operated by the occupant of a business premises located in a residential district shall be permitted to stand in front of business premises actually occupied by him or her; and provided further, that any tradesperson or mechanic, while actually engaged in work on premises located in a residential district, shall be permitted to have any truck owned or operated by him or her stand in front of such premises.
