§ 76.08 PARKING OF LARGE VEHICLES ON PUBLIC STREETS.
   (A)   No vehicle or combination of vehicles joined together, the overall length of which is greater than 30 feet, and no vehicle or combination of vehicles joined together, the width of which at the widest point is greater than 8 feet, shall be parked upon the public streets or thoroughfares of the city.
   (B)   For the purposes of determining vehicle length and width under this section, any cargo or equipment loaded upon or attached to the vehicle shall be considered part of the vehicle.
   (C)   Notwithstanding division (A) above, the vehicles may be parked upon the public streets or thoroughfares of the city for the purpose of making a local pickup or delivery; or for the purpose of removing them from the traveled portion of the street, in the event the vehicle is disabled, until assistance may be secured; or if the owner or operator of the vehicle has obtained a permit from the Board of Public Works and Safety of the city, allowing the vehicle to be so parked and the vehicle is parked according to the provisions of the permit.

§ 76.09 PARKING OF TRACTORS AND SEMITRAILERS.
   (A)   The parking of tractors or detached trailers or semi-trailers upon the public streets or thoroughfares of the city is prohibited.
   (B)   Notwithstanding division (A) above, a tractor or detached trailer or semitrailer may be parked upon the public streets or thoroughfares of the city for the purpose of removing it from the traveled portion of the street, in the event the vehicle, trailer, or semitrailer is disabled, until assistance may be secured; or if the tractor, trailer or semitrailer is parked pursuant to and within the provisions of a permit for the parking issued to the owner or operator of the tractor, detached trailer or semitrailer by the Board of Public Works and Safety of the city.

§ 76.10 IMPOUNDMENT OF VEHICLES.
   (A)   This section does not apply to §§ 76.04 and 76.05(A).
   (B)   In addition to any other penalty provided by this chapter for the violation of any restriction as to parking of a vehicle, if any vehicle remains parked in violation of any restriction as to parking of a vehicle in excess of 24 hours after the commencement of such violation, the city’s Police Department, its representatives or agents, are authorized and empowered to impound the vehicle and remove it from the illegal parking situation, with all expenses of the impoundment and removal to be paid by the owner of the vehicle before the vehicle may be released from the impoundment.
