§ 70.106 CITY TRAFFIC ENGINEER TO DESIGNATE CROSSWALKS, ESTABLISH SAFETY ZONES AND MARK TRAFFIC LANES.
   The city’s Traffic Engineer is authorized:
   (A)   To designate and maintain, by appropriate devices, marks or lines upon the surface of the roadway, crosswalks at intersections where, in his or her opinion there is particular danger to pedestrians crossing the roadway, and at other places he or she deems necessary;
   (B)   To establish safety zones of the kind and character and at the places he or she deems necessary for the protection of pedestrians;
   (C)   To mark lanes for traffic on street pavements at places he or she deems advisable, consistent with the traffic ordinances of the city.
