§ 156.033 APPLICATION FOR PLUMBING PERMIT.
   (A)   Application for a permit for plumbing work shall be made on suitable forms provided by the Building Department. The application shall be accompanied by all required fees.
   (B)   No journeyman plumber licensed by the State of Indiana and no apprentice plumber registered with the State of Indiana shall be issued a permit to do any plumbing work.
   (C)   The Plumbing Inspector shall have the power and authority approve or deny applications for permits. Appeals to denial of applications for permits by the Plumbing Inspector shall be according to § 156.056.
   (D)   Exception.
      (1)   Journeyman plumber and apprentice plumbers may obtain permits if they qualify as an owner occupier.
      (2)   Softener installers who fall under the Indiana Plumbing Commission Statutes and Rules, Title 25, Article 28.5, Plumbers, are not governed by the requirements of this section.
