(A) Short title. This subchapter shall be known and may be cited as the "Southwest Industrial Area Sewer Connection Ordinance."
(B) Purpose. The purpose of this subchapter is to allow for specified property owners located in certain areas of the Southwest Industrial Area to obtain a special exemption from the sewer connection requirements contained in § 51.071. This subchapter shall establish a process for obtaining the exemption and establish new requirements for the connection of a property to the public sewer under the special exemption. This subchapter only provides for an exemption to the portion of § 51.071 requiring connection to the sewer within 3 years of completion of the public sewer. In all other respects, the remainder of § 51.071, shall remain in full force and effect.
