§ 157.065  CREATION OF ELECTRICAL EXAMINING BOARD.
   (A)  There is created the Electrical Examining Board of the city hereinafter designated as the “Board,” which shall consist of the Electrical Inspector of the city and 5 other members appointed by the Mayor as follows:  1 representative of the Electrical Utility Company serving the city; 1 representative of a Class A contractor; 1 journeyman electrician not associated with the Class A contractor whose representative is appointed to the Board; 1 representative from an industry with a Class A license; and 1 homeowner representing the public.  The 5 existing Board members shall continue to serve until their existing terms expire, and thereafter each appointment or reappointment shall be for a term of 4 years or until a successor is appointed.  The Electrical Inspector shall act as Chairperson of the Board.  Any appointed members may, for cause and after a hearing, be removed from office by the Mayor.  Each appointed member shall receive the sum of $10 for each day during which he or she has attended a meeting of the Board.
   (B)  Records of the meetings of the Board shall be open to the public for inspection at all times.  The Board shall keep a record of all licenses and certificates issued by it and shall have printed a manual of its rules and regulations for the conduct of examinations.
