§ 157.999  PENALTY.
   (A)   Any person, firm or corporation who violates any of the provisions of  this chapter  upon conviction, shall be liable for a civil penalty of not less than $100, nor more than $2,500, exclusive of court costs.  Injunctive relief also shall be available to the city to prevent the violations.  If such person, firm or corporation is the holder of any license provided for in this chapter, the conviction shall have the effect of suspending the license until such time as the suspension is lifted by the Examining Board.
   (B)   There is hereby created a Board of Review, which shall consist of the Mayor, who shall be Chairperson, and all 5 members of the Examining Board other than the Electrical Inspector.  Each member of the Board shall serve without pay and until he or she has been removed from office by the Mayor and his or her successor has been appointed.  Any person, firm or corporation may register an appeal with the Board of Review for a review of any decision of the Electrical Inspector , provided that the appeal is made in writing, within 10 days after that person, firm or corporation has been notified of that decision by the Electrical Inspector.  Upon receipt of the appeal, the Board shall proceed to determine whether the action of the Electrical Inspector complies with this chapter and, within 30 days from receipt of the appeal, the Board shall make a decision in accordance with its findings.  Four members of the Board present at any meeting shall constitute a quorum for the transition of business, any official action taken at any meeting shall require the concurring vote of at least 4 members.
   (C)   Further appeal may be sough as provided in I.C. 22-13-2-7.  The Board of Review shall have the power to grant permits for trial installations of new types of electrical equipment or any new methods of installing electrical equipment, subject to the approval of the Fire Prevention and Building Safety Commission.
