§ 155.26 CLASSES OF LICENSES.
   Except as provided in divisions (D) and (E) below, 3 classes of licenses and certificates shall be issued by the Mechanical Examining Board which shall be known respectively as Class A Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Contractor; Class AA Hydronic Systems Contractor; and Class AAA Refrigeration Contractor.
   (A)   A Class A license shall entitle the holder to undertake, execute or perform any work to install, repair, alter, or extend any forced-air system of air conditioning, warm-air heating, ventilation and exhaust systems, including any and all duct systems necessary to make a complete system.
   (B)   A Class AA license shall entitle the holder to undertake, execute or perform any work to install, repair and service boilers and hydronic piping, including the boiler auxiliary equipment, air handlers and controls.
   (C)   A Class AAA license shall entitle the holder to undertake, execute or perform any work to install, repair or alter any system of refrigeration, provided that such refrigeration is intended to be used for the purpose of food and product preservation or processing and is not to be used for comfort systems.
   (D)   Persons holding valid heating and refrigeration licenses issued in accordance with previous chapters shall be issued licenses as described above subject to procedures and guidelines to be established by the Mechanical Examination Board.
   (E)   Any previously issued license which is not transferable to a new classification may continue to be renewed as provided in § 155.27 in its old classification. The license shall be subject to its original restrictions and may not be renewed if it becomes delinquent.
