A. Required: All houses, buildings and structures within the village shall be numbered in accordance with the regulations set forth by the department of engineering and community development.
B. Duty To Affix; Visibility: It shall be the duty of the owner or occupant of every house, building or structure in the village to have placed thereon, so as to be clearly visible from the street, figures showing the number of the house, building or structure. The minimum height of letters and numbers shall be three inches (3") set on a contrasting background.
C. Penalty: It shall be unlawful for any person to violate any provision of this section.
D. Payment Of Fine: Any person charged with a violation of any provision of this section may, in lieu of prosecution for a violation thereof, make payment in accordance with the provisions of the violation notice.
