Unless otherwise provided, the chief of police or any other person designated by the Mayor and board of trustees shall post or cause to be posted suitable signs for all such streets restricting or prohibiting turning movements, through streets, stop and yield intersections, streets where parking is restricted or prohibited and limited load streets.
