A. Appointment: The Fire and Police Commission shall appoint temporary police officers in accordance with the provisions of State statute upon the request and with the recommendation of the Chief of Police.
B. Powers And Duties: Every temporary police officer shall have all the powers and duties now vested in any regular police officer under the ordinances of this Village and the State. He shall be subject to the command and direction of superior officers and abide by all regulations of the Police Department.
C. Compensation: Compensation and special requirements of temporary police officers shall be established, from time to time, by resolution passed by the Village Mayor and Board of Trustees.
