3-8A-1-11: INSPECTIONS:
   A.   Authority: It shall be the responsibility of the regulatory authority, Director of Engineering and Community Development and Fire Chief to make or cause to be made such inspections to ensure compliance with the provisions of this Section and all other ordinances relating hereto. At least once every three (3) months the regulatory authority shall inspect each day care center within the Village and shall make as many additional inspections and reinspections as are necessary for the enforcement of this Section.
   B.   Entry Powers: The regulatory authority or his/her designated agent, after proper identification, shall be permitted to enter at any reasonable time any day care establishment in the Village for the purpose of making inspections to determine compliance with this Section. He/she shall be permitted to examine the records of the establishment to obtain pertinent information pertaining to public health and safety.
   C.   Inspection Report: Whenever an inspection of a day care establishment is made, the findings shall be recorded on an inspection report. One copy of the inspection report form shall be furnished to the person in charge of the establishment and the licensee if other than the person in charge.
The completed inspection report form shall specify a reasonable period of time for the correction of the violations found, and correction of the violations shall be accomplished within the period specified. If an imminent health hazard exists, the establishment shall immediately cease operations. Operations shall not be resumed until authorized by the Village.
The inspection report shall state that failure to comply with any time limits for corrections may result in cessation of day care operations.
