8-8C-5: NOTIFICATION AND COMPLIANCE:
The enforcing officer shall notify the property owner or occupant concerning violations of this Article. Such notification shall indicate the nature of the violation and an amount of time allowed for compliance. Upon receipt of said notice, the property owner shall notify the enforcing officer within ten (10) working days of his plans for corrective action. Time to comply shall be determined as follows:
   A.   During the construction season (April 1 to October 30), a maximum of thirty (30) calendar days for a permanent repair.
   B.   At other times of the year, a maximum of thirty (30) calendar days for a temporary repair.
   C.   For hazardous pavement damage which would result in either vehicular or personal property damage or injury to pedestrians, a maximum of twenty four (24) hours for a temporary repair.
Extensions for compliance may be granted under special circumstances and demonstration of undue hardship.
