§ 151.46 CRITICAL FACILITIES.
   Critical facilities shall be constructed on properly compacted fill and have the lowest floor (including basement) elevated at least one foot above the elevation of the 500-year flood. A critical facility shall have at least one access road connected to land outside the 500-year floodplain that is capable of supporting a 12,500-pound vehicle. The top of the road must be no lower than six inches below the elevation of the 500-year floodplain.
