§ 51.07  SPRINKLER SYSTEMS; REQUIREMENTS FOR CONNECTION TO WATER SYSTEM.
   No sprinkler or other fire system will be connected to the city’s water system unless and until adequate plans for the system have been submitted to and approved by the Director of Public Utilities of the city and the final tap-on connection will not be made until the entire installation has been inspected and approved by the Director of Public Utilities or his or her designated assistant. Such installations shall be in accordance with the specifications and requirements of the Director of Public Utilities and shall include not less than one fire underwriter’s approved check valve at a location to be designated by the Director of Public Utilities.
