(A) (1) Adult movie theaters, adult book stores and adult entertainment facilities are prohibited within 1,000 feet from the following specified zones: from residential zones “R-1”, “R-2”, “R-3” and residential “PUD” or “PR” developments.
(2) Adult movie theaters, adult book stores and adult entertainment facilities are prohibited within 1,000 feet from the following specified uses:
(a) From any public or private school;
(b) From any church, religious facility or institution or community center;
(c) From any public park; and
(d) From any public library.
(3) The distance provided in divisions (A)(1) and (A)(2) above shall be measured by following a straight line, without regard to intervening buildings, from the nearest point of the property parcel upon which the proposed use is to be located, to the nearest point of the parcel of property or the land use district boundary line from which the proposed land use is to be separated.
(B) Adult movie theaters, adult book stores and adult entertainment facilities are prohibited within 1,000 feet from the intersection of the centerlines of E. LeClaire Road and US61.
(C) No adult movie theater, adult book store or adult entertainment facility shall be located closer than 300 feet to any other adult movie theater, adult book store or adult entertainment facility.
(D) Nothing in this section is intended to authorize, legalize or permit the establishment, operation or maintenance of any business, building or use that violates any other provisions of law.
