Any person, firm or corporation, agent, employee or contractor of such who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who resists enforcement of any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction, forfeit not less than $1 nor more than $100 for each offense. Each day that a violation continues to exist shall constitute a separate offense.
