§ 8.00 RULES FOR INTERPRETATION OF ZONING DISTRICT BOUNDARIES.
   Where uncertainty exists with respect to the precise location of any of the zoning map, the following rules shall apply:
§ 8.01.   Boundaries shown as following or approximately following streets, highways or alleys shall be construed to follow the center lines of such streets, highways or alleys;
§ 8.02.   Boundaries shown as following or approximately following platted lot lines or other property lines shall be construed to be said boundary lines;
§ 8.03.   Boundaries shown as following or approximately following railroad lines shall be construed to lie midway between the main tracks of such railroad lines;
§ 8.04.   Boundaries shown as following or approximately following the center lines of streams, rivers or other watercourses shall be construed as following the channel center line of such watercourses taken at a mean low water mark;
§ 8.05.   Boundaries shown as following or closely following the city limits shall be construed as following such limits;
§ 8.06.   Where the application of the aforesaid rules leaves a reasonable doubt as to the boundaries between two districts, the regulations of the more restrictive district shall govern the entire parcel in question, unless otherwise determined by the Board in accordance with provisions contained in § 17.02A of this chapter; and
§ 8.07.   Whenever any street, alley or other public way is vacated by official action of the Council, the zoning district adjoining each side of such street, alley or public way shall be automatically extended to the center of such vacation and all area included in the vacation shall then and henceforth be subject to all appropriate regulations of the extended districts.
