§ 16.00 SEVERABILITY.
   If any of the provisions of this chapter are for any reason declared to be illegal or void, the lawful provisions of this chapter, which are severable from said provisions, shall be and remain in full force and effect, the same as if this chapter contained no illegal or void provisions.
