(A) (1) Any person desiring to deposit or discharge, or who is now so doing, any industrial waste into the town sanitary sewers shall make application to the approving authority in the manner prescribed by him or her.
(2) The approving authority shall approve the applications only when evidence is submitted by the applicant that the discharge into the sanitary sewer will comply with all the regulations of this subchapter.
(B) Should any person fail to secure a permit or fail to have his, her or its application approved, the approving authority shall, upon 24 hours’ notice, if the person is using town water, disconnect the person’s connection with the town water system, and the same will only be reconnected at the owner’s expense; and if the person does not use town water, the person, after 24 hours’ notice, shall have his or her connection with the town sewer system severed, and the service will only be restored at the person’s expense.
