Proclamations issued under the terms of this subchapter shall be in essentially the following forms.
(A) Imposition.
PROCLAMATION |
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Edenton, North Carolina, has duly adopted an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to prohibit assemblies after he or she finds that the prohibition is necessary as a response to an emergency,

NOW THEREFORE I, , Mayor of the Town of Edenton, North Carolina, proclaim that: |
I. An emergency exists which endangers lives, safety and property and assemblies of three or more persons in the areas identified in this proclamation constitute a clear and present danger of prolonging or aggravating the emergency.

II. No person shall be a part of any assembly of three or more persons in the area bounded by |

III. This proclamation is effective immediately.

(B) Removal.
PROCLAMATION |
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Edenton, North Carolina, has duly adopted an ordinance requiring the Mayor to remove by proclamation a prohibition on assemblies when the emergency no longer requires it or when directed to do so by the Town Council, and

WHEREAS, the emergency no longer requires the prohibition of assemblies (The Town Council has directed me to remove the prohibition on assemblies),
|
NOW THEREFORE I, , Mayor of the Town of Edenton, North Carolina proclaim that the prohibition of assemblies established by my proclamation of (date of proclamation) , as it may have been amended is removed. |
