It shall be unlawful for any person to willfully fail or refuse to comply with any final order or direction of the Building Inspector or Town Council made by virtue and in pursuance of this subchapter, and any person violating this subchapter shall, upon conviction, be punished as provided by G.S. § 14-4 for the violation of municipal ordinances and, every day, the person shall willfully fail or refuse to comply with any final order or direction of the Building Inspector or Town Council made by virtue and in pursuance of this subchapter shall constitute a separate and distinct offense.
